Touch A Truck Day

May 9, 2018, 11:09 a.m.

Kamo Fire Brigades “Touch a Truck” day is a hit once again. The event, which encourages kids, or rather the whole family, to come along and get up close to vehicles big and small that are normally off limits - Fire trucks, police cars, trucks - the lot! The day is a fundraiser for the Kamo Fire Brigades involvement in the Skytower Climb, which is done in full firefighter gear to raise money for charity. Firefighter, Georgie Ivey, talks about the day, the kids, the community and how it all ties together to create a great day for a great cause.
