Parents Centre Quiz Night

Aug. 28, 2018, 10:07 a.m.

The Whangārei Parent Centre have thrown their annual quiz night fundraiser which helps to pay the rent, running costs and purchase new resources for the centre. Co-President Ellie Ball, a woman who speaks with great passion about the Parents Centre speaks to the work they do and the services they provide which is primarily child birth education. Throughout the year several blocks of antenatal classes are ran and after they wrap up, a coffee group is set up for the women (and men!) to allow a continued place for support and fun! Ellie adds "when I had my first baby and I joined Parent Centre and I got my coffee group the've literally become sort of like my family" this is something that Ellie is passionate about and would like other new mothers to have that same experience.
