Kind Hands

Kind Hands is a new Respite Care Cottage providing a home away from home. It's aimed at kids 0-6 who have a disability or are medically fragile. Stephanie Porowini, a parent and trust member, explains how this home away from home is beneficial to both parents and children. Porowini also adds “I’ve been involved throughout and I donate a percentage of my earnings to Kind Hands to help them out because there’s no funding yet”. While most children with a disability will have funding, those parents who need help can apply to the Kind Hands Charitable Trust to help fund their childs stay. Kind Hands is staffed by a team of registered nurses and trained carers, ensuring the best care for the children staying in the cottage.
