4C’s For All

Sept. 14, 2018, 10:05 a.m.

Although 4CS was meant for the Elderly and disadvantaged in the Whangarei community, everyone is welcome! Every Monday morning the group meets to laugh, play, and live life! Various activities are available to participate in, including scrabble, knitting, or even indoor bowls. Designed to not only be involving, social, and fun but also affordable, 4CS allows the elderly and disadvantaged (Or anyone else) to come along and enjoy themselves. Maybeth Roberts, the Programme Leader, talks about 4CS, why they’re there, and how its helps the people who come and the community in general. Roberts tell us about research that has been done into how to live well “One factor is having friends and getting out into society - and many of the people who come here would otherwise be shut in at home and never really meet anyone”
