Peter-Lucas Jones sat down with Minister Willow-Jean Prime following the dawn ceremony at Waitangi 2019. Willow-Jean shed some light on the claims process, in particular the notion of 'a full and final settlement' for historical claims. They then went on to discuss contemporary issues of tino rangatiratanga. Willow-Jean believes that we have the mana to decide how we move forward with these challenges but can find guidance in the work of our ancestors. Finally, Peter-Lucas asked Willow-Jean about her thoughts on the Government's achievements so far and what was to come.
