“Tukua o Punga – cast your nets, which encapsulates the key purpose of schooling – to enable students to cast their nets so that they can be successful learners, reach their personal potential and be purposeful, productive and caring members of society. The name Tukua o Punga was also adopted into their Kapa Haka team to give them a sense of rich history that lies within their Kura.
