Te Whare Kura O Te Rangi Aniwaniwa

At the request of Te Rangianiwaniwa the waiata-a-ringa was not filmed. Te Wharekura o Te Rangi Aniwaniwa had only three students who were taught in the corridor of kura teina when parents decided to retain them at Te Rangi Aniwaniwa for secondary schooling. This unofficial phase of Wharekura was unfunded for 2 years. In 1999 the Associate Minister of Education, the Honourable Tau Henare, granted approval for the establishment of the first Wharekura in Tai Tokerau.
