This rōpu is a newly formed rōpu of year 9 students, formed 10 weeks ago. The Kuaka programme is a bilingual class at Kaitaia College that started in 2018 to meet the demands of bilingual students transitioning to Kaitaia College. We have been developing our capacity of kaiako at Kaitaia College and this is the first year they have been able to stand at festivals.
