Ko mātou nei e ngana ana kia whakatinana i ngā wawata, i ngā moemoeā a ō mātou tūpuna, ā, kia whāia hoki te ōhaki Ngāti Whātua Heru Hāpai. Located in the Kaipara and near Ōtamatea, the local marae, Ngā Uri o ngā Waka is the name of the school kapa haka and acknowledges the hononga or connection of our students to their various waka and eponymous ancestors. The resurgence of te reo Māori has seen a growing interest from our students to engage in haka and waiata. Our tauira continue to learn our traditional performing art through wānanga and iwi based kapa haka.
