Shane Jones talks about kianga and kupu from Te Taitokerau

This years Māori Language Week theme is "whangaihia te reo ki ngā mātua" and phrases are the way to go. In this interview Shane Jones talks about kianga and gives some examples of specific phrases that are used in the Far North. He also shares particular Maori words from the Far North and explains how they are used. He speaks about who shared this kōrero tuku iho with him and expresses his desire to bring appropriate people together to learn more about kianga, kupu o te kainga and tikanga marae in general.
